    Energy Healing

    with Reiki

    Marlo is a "hands-off" Reiki Master/Karuna Reiki® Master. She received her Reiki attunements and education through Dr. Anne Reith, Founder, IMPART Wisdom & Wellness Center. 

     

    Her intention during an energy healing session is to balance the 7 main energy centers in the body known as the chakras.

     

    When Reiki energy is sent through the body, it can sometimes help clear blockages. These blockages can be on a spiritual, emotional, mental, or even physical level. Reiki energy goes where a person needs it most. As a practitioner, Marlo is the conduit for this energy.

     

    The word Reiki comes from the Japanese language. Rei ("ray"): God's wisdom or higher power and Ki ("kee"): life force energy. The meaning of Reiki is "spiritually guided life force energy". 

     

     

    How is a Reiki energy healing given?

    Reiki is performed while the you are lying flat, usually on a massage-type table or sitting up in a chair. Whichever position is most comfortable for you.

     

    Marlo places her hands near the receiver's body in a series of hand positions. These include positions around the head, shoulders, chest, stomach, and feet. Other hand positions may be used.   

     

    What does a Reiki energy healing feel like?

    Reiki experiences can differ from session to session and person to person. Many report feelings of deep relaxation, tingling, pressure, vibrations, or even heat. However, some feel nothing at all. Either way, Reiki energy is flowing.  Reiki is non-invasive and designed to help you relax and feel comfort.


    How will I feel after a Reiki session?

    Each person reacts differently to a Reiki session. Some feel very relaxed while others may feel full of energy. Pay attention to your body and respond accordingly. It is recommended to drink plenty of water.

     

    What do I need to do to prepare for a session?

    Wear something comfortable and being hydrated are the only recommendations.
